Westminster Abbey Matins Service

Thirteen EIL students joined Professor Berry at the 10am Matins service at Westminster Abbey (Church of England) on Sunday, June 11.  Canon in Residence, David Stanton, gave the morning sermon.  Students were able to see the tombs of both Sir Issac Newton and James Prescott Joule as they made their way through the halls of the Abbey. Professor Berry hosted the students for tea and cakes at the Abbey's Cafe afterwards. Enjoy the photos before and after the service.
